AKRON, Ohio-Akron Mayor Shammas Malik announced that a police school resource officer punched a student in the head at Firestone Community Learning Center last week. During a news conference, Malik described the video of the incident as “upsetting,” and confirmed that the Akron police have launched an investigation.
