BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio-The Bellefontaine Robotics Team 7865E, known as The Slurp-Ez, made history by becoming the first team from Bellefontaine Middle School to qualify and compete at the Vex World’s Robotics Championship in Dallas, Texas.
Competing against 494 teams from over 15,000 worldwide, including countries like China, Canada, and Germany, The Slurp-Ez showcased their talent by winning 8 out of 10 matches in their division. Although they lost in the Round of 16, the team’s performance was commendable, and they are eager to start planning for the next season. They expressed gratitude to their sponsors for their generous support.
