With students across the state preparing to return to classrooms, the Ohio State Highway Patrol is urging drivers to stay alert around school buses and follow traffic laws designed to protect children. Since 2020, Ohio has recorded 6,225 crashes involving school buses, including five fatal incidents that claimed five lives — one of them a school-aged student.
