What started as a simple idea at one Sylvania elementary school turned into a lesson of compassion and generosity. Students at Sylvan Elementary collected thousands of donations to help local families in need. In October, Sylvania Area Family Services shared that its food pantry needed donations ahead of the temporary pause on SNAP benefits.
