Columbus Metropolitan Library to Provide Free Meals to Students at 17 Branches This Summer

This summer, the Columbus Metropolitan Library is teaming up with the Children’s Hunger Alliance to provide free meals to students aged 18 and younger at 17 branches. Starting June 3 and continuing until the fall semester begins.
This initiative aims to ensure that children who depend on school lunches have access to nutritious meals during the summer break. Miya Reyes, the CML Public Services Director, emphasizes the importance of these meals for both physical health and cognitive function.
The schedule includes breakfast and lunch timings at different branches from Monday to Saturday. Some branches also offer dinner. Cold meals are served at specific branches.

Barnett Branch: 3227 East Livingston Ave.
BREAKFAST: Monday-Saturday: 12-12:30 p.m.
LUNCH: Monday-Saturday: 4-5 p.m.
Driving Park Branch: 1422 East Livingston Ave.
BREAKFAST: Monday-Friday: 12:15-12:45 p.m.
DINNER: Monday-Thursday: 5:15-5:45 p.m. Friday & Saturday: 4:15-4:45 p.m.
Franklinton Branch: 1061 West Town St.
LUNCH: Monday-Saturday: 12:30-1:15 p.m.
Hilltop Branch: 511 South Hague Ave.
