Children Spotlight of the Week: Campbell Muller
This week, we shine a spotlight on an extraordinary young leader from Ohio, Campbell Muller, a senior at New Albany High School. Campbell’s dedication to academics, leadership, and community service exemplifies the best of what it means to be an engaged and compassionate youth leader.
Campbell is a force to be reckoned with, balancing a wide range of activities and accolades. She is deeply involved in her school and community through her participation in Global Scholars, the National Honor Society, SOAR Leadership, and Girl Up. She also serves as a board member for both Key Club and House and supports her school as an office aid.
As a cheerleader for both basketball and football, Campbell has shown consistent commitment and excellence over the last four years, earning her a varsity letter for the past two seasons. Her passion for cheerleading extends beyond the sidelines; she has volunteered as a coach for the New Albany Parks and Rec youth cheerleading team for four years, dedicating over 150 service hours to mentoring young athletes.
Her heart for service doesn’t stop there. Campbell is a Youth Ambassador at Five14 Church, where she inspires others to make a difference. Her volunteer efforts have included assisting at retirement homes, writing cards to veterans, and participating in park clean-ups through Key Club and the National Honor Society.
For her senior seminar project, Campbell went above and beyond by shadowing the head of New Albany Parks and Rec Youth Cheerleading. She planned and organized a cheer camp, demonstrating exceptional leadership and organizational skills, and coached the team for the entire season.
Campbell’s hard work and dedication have not gone unnoticed. She has been recognized as an AP Scholar, earned the GPA Award for Cheerleading, and has consistently achieved honor roll status throughout her high school career.
