Meet Pe’tlyn Pruitt: The 11-Year-Old Who Published 3 Books in a Year
Pe’tlyn Pruitt, an 11-year-old author, has accomplished something remarkable, publishing three books in under a year. Her journey began in early 2024 with Lori’s First Day at a New School, a story aimed at helping children navigate the challenges of starting fresh.
She followed up with Lori’s New Baby Sister, a book designed to support children adjusting to new siblings. Pe’tlyn also created an activity book filled with fun exercises and positive messages.
“She’s self-motivated,” says her father, Pete Pruitt. “We just encourage her to always do her best.” Her mother, Airian Pruitt, shares how Pe’tlyn’s success has even inspired adults to explore writing. Now, Pe’tlyn has expanded her creative vision with an animated Lori series on YouTube.
“If you have a dream, you can do it,” she says. “I never thought I’d publish three books in less than a year, but I did.”
