Record Attendance as Volunteers, lawmakers, community members gather at Statehouse for CASA Day in Ohio 2024

In an overwhelming show of support and solidarity, the Ohio Statehouse Rotunda came alive with a noble activity on Tuesday, April 30, as community members, lawmakers, and volunteers gathered for CASA Day in Ohio 2024. This annual event, known for championing the cause of children facing abuse and neglect, marked a significant milestone this year with a record number of attendees from across the state.
Court-Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) volunteers, who dedicate their time to advocate for the welfare of children in the court system, were joined by supporters of local programs and staff from Ohio CASA. The event also saw a notable presence of state leaders and legislators who came together to acknowledge and celebrate the critical role these volunteers play in the lives of these precious children statewide.
