Spotlight: Ms. Michelle Mumaw, Advocate for Children’s Rights
Meet Ms. Michelle Mumaw, a passionate advocate dedicated to championing children’s rights in Franklin County, Columbus, Ohio.
Ms. Michelle began at Capital Law School, honing her legal acumen, graduating in 2015 and subsequently being admitted to the Ohio Bar.
Ms. Michelle’s commitment to making a difference was evident early on when she served as a legal extern for CASA (Court-Appointed Special Advocates) in Franklin County in 2013. Inspired by the impact she witnessed, Michelle continued her involvement, becoming a dedicated volunteer in 2014.
Transitioning from private practice to a pivotal role as a Staff Attorney at CASA in 2017, Ms. Michelle’s expertise became a beacon of hope for countless children in need.
Collaborating closely with volunteers, she has tackled complex cases involving Abuse Neglect Dependency and Juvenile Delinquency, including those affected by trafficking.
Her tireless efforts and unwavering dedication have not only provided legal representation but also offered a voice to the voiceless, ensuring that every child’s rights are protected and upheld.
