Student Taken Into Custody After Bringing Weapons to Penta Career Center

On the morning of May 1, a Penta Career Center student was taken into custody after allegedly bringing weapons to school.
According to school officials, the student had reportedly bragged about carrying weapons for “protection” in connection with a situation expected to occur after school and off-campus.
The incident was reported around 7:50 a.m., prompting immediate action by school administration. The student was detained quickly and found in possession of a pocket knife and an airsoft gun.
PCC confirmed that no students or staff were ever in danger. The Perrysburg Township Police took the student into custody, and disciplinary action will be taken per the school’s code of conduct.
The case is under investigation.
