Tragic Crash in Ross County Leaves One Juvenile Dead, Three Injured

Tragedy struck Ross County on Monday morning when a juvenile lost their life and three others were seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP).
Troopers responded to the incident around 7:30 a.m. on Black Run Road, approximately one mile west of State Route 772. Preliminary reports indicate that a Toyota Corolla, traveling southeast, went off the right side of the road, striking roadside vegetation, a utility pole guywire, multiple trees, and a concrete retaining wall.
The vehicle carried an adult driver and four juveniles, all of whom were transported to Adena Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Sadly, one of the juveniles later succumbed to their injuries, while the driver and two other juveniles remain in serious condition. The crash is still under investigation by OSHP.
This tragic incident highlights the vulnerability of children and the importance of safety measures to protect them. Every child has the right to life, survival, and development.
