Trumbull County Man Sentenced to 50 Years for Grooming 40 Underage Girls

Christopher Callaway, 40, formerly of West Farmington, Ohio, has been sentenced to 50 additional years in federal prison for sexually exploiting more than 40 children, adding to his current sentence for related state charges.

Federal investigators revealed that between 2015 and 2022, Callaway targeted girls aged 10 to 17 via social media platforms, using grooming tactics to manipulate affected children into sharing explicit content. He also committed acts of abuse across multiple states and stored over 20,000 files of child sexual abuse material.

He pleaded guilty to six federal counts, including production and distribution of child pornography, and will pay $40,000 under the Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act.

This is a clear violation of the rights of the child, that no person shall sexually exploit a child.
