Warner Middle School Welcomes New Assistant Principal, Rebecca Kleinhenz

Xenia Community Schools has announced the appointment of Rebecca Kleinhenz as the new assistant principal of Warner Middle School, succeeding Jamie Simpson, who was named principal in May. The leadership transition marks a new chapter as the school enters its first full academic year in a new building.
Superintendent Dr. Gabriel Lofton expressed confidence in the appointment, noting, “I am pleased to have our middle school administrative team back to full strength. Mrs. Kleinhenz’s years of experience in the classroom and in leadership roles will serve our students well.”
With 25 years in education, Kleinhenz brings deep classroom and administrative expertise. She previously served as principal of Northwestern Junior/Senior High School and spent 12 years at the Upper Valley Career Center as a Teacher Academy Instructor. Her early career included a decade of teaching high school English at Ada Exempted Village Schools.
Kleinhenz holds advanced degrees in Educational Leadership and Education, as well as a bachelor’s in Communication/Theater Arts.
Her arrival reflects more than just a staffing update; it reaffirms the district’s commitment to upholding every child’s right to a quality education. Students are entitled to safe, supportive, and high-quality learning environments led by competent educators.
By investing in experienced, student-centered leadership, Xenia Community Schools continues to promote a culture where academic success, personal development, and inclusive learning are prioritized.
