šŸŽ‚ TIERI’S BIG 4! A FATHER’S DECLARATION OF COVENANT, SPEAKING DIRECTLY TO HIS SUBJECTIVE QUALITY UNDER GOD

On Saturday, October 25, 2025, our son Tieri turned four.

Today, as part of my #50PlusDad reflections, I share with the world the very words I spoke over him on his birthday, a gift of eternal value.

Because words over children are seeds, and when we are purposeful enough, those seeds mature into systems of destiny.

I also share here the reasoning that birthed those declarations.

šŸŒ… THE BIG FOUR: A MIRACLE AND A MANUAL

We call it The Big Four, not for its number, but for its meaning because this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our sight.

Everything about Tieri is big, big in purpose, big in wonder, big in the divine story he represents. He came at twilight yet carried dawn in his hands. He arrived when strength seemed spent, and God used him to prove that His promises do not expire with time.

Through him, we have learned that children are not simply to be raised, they are to be revealed.
Every child carries a manual, written by the Maker, to guide the hands that nurture them.

šŸ•Š THE DIVINE MANUAL OF CHILDHOOD

Every child is a walking revelation, a mystery in motion, a divine manual wrapped in innocence.

To raise a child rightly is to read that manual reverently.

That manual speaks in two tongues:
* The Objective: what scholars, teachers, and sages have discovered about children across generations.
* The Subjective: what each child uniquely reveals to the parent who listens with both heart and humility.
But there is a third voice, the highest of all, the Voice of the Maker.

āš–ļø OBJECTIVE QUANTITY AND SUBJECTIVE QUALITY

In raising children, many parents drown in what I call the objective quantity, the vast and impressive body of scholarship, psychology, and pedagogy.

We forget that all objective knowledge must first be subjected to the Voice of the Maker before it can produce subjective quality, the revealed uniqueness of each child.

When we elevate academic findings above divine insight, we raise children by data, not by destiny. But when we subject objective quantity to God’s voice, we uncover subjective quality, the living, breathing essence of who our child truly is.

There are, therefore, only three authorities fit to speak of a child:
1. The Maker who formed them.
2. The Scholar who studies them.
3. The Parent who raises them.

Both the scholar and the parent must bow to the Maker, for every theory and every experience must be judged by His eternal design.

Anything that does not align with His voice, however acclaimed remains a fallacy to be rejected.

To raise Tieri is to study the thoughts of God made visible in a child. Parenting, I have learned, is not ownership, it is stewardship; not control, it is collaboration with the Creator.

🌟 TIERI’S 4TH BIRTHDAY DECLARATION

On that sacred morning, in the presence of God and His holy angels, and in full agreement with his mother, I made these seven declarations over my son, TieriayoOluwa, in alignment with his subjective quality under God.

1ļøāƒ£ You were born for purpose, and you will fulfil it.

Your name is not a label; it is a covenant. You will live in the joy of the Lord all your days.
That joy will steady your steps, strengthen your soul, and saturate your seasons.
Where others strive for happiness, you will walk in joy unbroken, because joy is your birthright.

2ļøāƒ£ You will know God early and walk with Him all your life.

You will not wander in confusion nor follow the noise of the crowd. You will hear His voice clearly, ā€œThis is the way, walk in itā€ and you will follow boldly. Wisdom beyond your years will rest upon you like light upon water.

3ļøāƒ£ You are a leader whose heart will never lose its tenderness.

In a world that rewards arrogance, you will lead with empathy. You will speak truth without cruelty, stand tall without pride, and serve without fear. You will stand for justice, walk in clarity, and love without measure.

4ļøāƒ£ You are protected by grace and preserved by mercy.

The God who gave you to us in our twilight will keep you through every dawn. No evil will find you. No harm will hold you. You will walk under a canopy of divine preservation and human goodwill. Angels will recognize your assignment and escort you through destiny’s doors.

5ļøāƒ£ You will be wise with numbers and rich in values.

Your hands will build excellence; your mind will birth solutions. But your greatest treasure will be a heart anchored in truth. You will unite brilliance with humility, logic with love, and knowledge with compassion. You will never chase success at the expense of significance.

6ļøāƒ£ Your parents will never weep over you.

We will rejoice over you, not only on birthdays, but every day we remember the miracle that you are. You will bring honour, not heartache; delight, not disappointment. You are our answered prayer, our legacy extended, our hope renewed.

7ļøāƒ£ Nations shall hear your voice.

Your words will heal. Your ideas will build. Your influence will travel farther than your feet.
You are not just a child; you are a sign and a wonder, proof that God still writes miracles into human history.

šŸ’™ A FATHER’S VOW

As you grow, I vow to grow with you.
I will not only teach you principles; I will embody them.
I will not only protect you; I will prepare you.
I will not only celebrate you; I will correct you with grace and lead by example.

For fatherhood is not a gift I received;
it is a covenant I honour, one I entered with trembling hands and a grateful heart.

So go, my son.
Run into your fourth year with wonder in your eyes and purpose in your steps.
The world will not define you; the Word will.
You were not born to blend in.
You were born to bless, build, and blaze trails.

Happy Birthday, Tieri.
You are four, and already formidable.
You are not just growing.
You are becoming.

And so am I.
