Twinsburg Teen Accused of Killing 14-Year-Old Girl

A tragic incident unfolded in Summit County on Saturday, when a 14-year-old girl was shot and killed by a 15-year-old boy.
According to the Summit County Medical Examiner’s office, the girl was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:42 p.m. on Ravenna Road, after officers responded to reports of the shooting shortly before 1 p.m. The girl’s identity has not yet been released pending an autopsy.
Police have charged the 15-year-old boy with murder and tampering with evidence. He is currently being held at the Summit County Juvenile Detention Center.
Multiple agencies, including the Twinsburg Fire Department, Valley Enforcement Group, Summit County Sheriff, and Ohio BCI&I, are assisting with the investigation.
