Cincinnati Children’s Hospital is partnering with New Richmond Schools to bring health care directly to students in the district. A new campus health center will open at New Richmond Middle School during the 2025-26 school year, providing convenient access to medical services for students across the district.

The health center will be within walking distance of New Richmond High School and a short drive from the district’s elementary schools, making it accessible to students of all ages. Services offered will include care for sick students, prescription medications, management of chronic conditions, immunizations, and mental health screenings.

“We will make high-quality pediatric care available for New Richmond students who might otherwise not receive it, addressing their preventive, acute, and chronic illness care needs,” said Dr. Evaline Alessandrini, Chief Operating Officer of Cincinnati Children’s. She added that the center will collaborate with community physicians to ensure coordinated care for students with existing medical providers.

The facility will be staffed by Cincinnati Children’s employees, including a nurse practitioner and a medical assistant, ensuring professional, dedicated care for every student.

This initiative represents a significant investment in student health, aiming to remove barriers to care and support the well-being of children throughout the New Richmond community.
