Three Teens Arrested in Murder of 17-Year-Old on July 4
A 17-year-old boy, Jaycieon Bennett, tragically lost his life on the Fourth of July in a deadly shooting in Toledo. The Toledo Police Department confirmed on Monday that three teenagers, aged 13, 14, and 17, have been arrested in connection with the incident and are facing murder charges.
The shooting occurred Friday afternoon on Baden Street, near South Avenue, where officers responded to reports of gunfire. According to police, two individuals were shot while inside a vehicle. Bennett was pronounced dead at the scene, while a female passenger sustained injuries.
