CINCINNATI, Ohio-Cincinnati Public Schools (CPS) has introduced a policy requiring students to lock their cell phones in magnetic pouches throughout the school day to minimize distractions and boost academic performance. The policy has been implemented in most high schools, and early reports suggest it has led to improvements, such as a decrease in 9th grade failures at Hughes High School.
