LIMA, Ohio-Lima City Schools recently hosted public tours of their new Agriculture and Engineering campus, designed to prepare students for college and careers through 12 career tech programs. The facility offers hands-on learning opportunities, including raising animals and using industry-standard equipment like robots, which help students gain relevant skills. Career tech director Frank Hohlhoffer highlighted partnerships with local colleges and companies like GROB and Ford, emphasizing the school’s commitment to student success. While about 50 students currently utilize the new campus, officials aim to double that number in the future, navigating the challenge of organizing the extensive curriculum effectively.
