ELMORE, Ohio-At a recent Woodmore Local Schools board meeting, community members expressed frustration over the confirmed rumor that middle school principal Kevin Ball’s contract would not be renewed. While the board declined to provide explicit reasons for their decision, a letter from Ball cited a “lack of consistent student discipline.”
Ball had been placed on paid administrative leave earlier in May. Students, parents, and community members packed the gym to voice their support for Ball, highlighting his positive impact on the district. The board promised to release a statement on the matter within 24 hours of the meeting’s end.
