A Columbus mother whose 3-year-old son died after reportedly pulling hot water off of a stove and onto himself at a South Franklinton apartment is now facing criminal charges.
Laronda Mims, 45, was indicted Tuesday by a Franklin County grand jury on charges of involuntary manslaughter and endangering children. Court records show prosecutors have requested a warrant for Mims’ arrest.
