CLEVELAND, Ohio-A 16-year-old Glenville High School student, Anthony Gibson, was tragically murdered over the weekend. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner confirmed Gibson’s death on August 10, following his arrival at University Hospitals on August 9. In response to his death, the Cleveland Metropolitan School District has mobilized support through their Humanware/Rapid Response Team to assist both staff and students at Glenville High. The district is focused on providing necessary resources and support during this difficult time. Cleveland police are still providing additional information about the case.
