Someone stabbed 11-year-old Jamella Davis to death in her Garden Valley apartment on East 79th Street near Kinsman Road in Cleveland on November 7, 1985. It has now been 40 years since Jamella’s mother found her body on the living room floor. Her mother told police she was asleep upstairs when it happened. Cleveland police have been working on the case for four decades, but still have no suspect.
