A new audit released for the East Liverpool Local School District shows that the district was once again cited for spending funds that had not been appropriated yet. According to the audit, the district had expenditures of over $66,781, $55,519, $86,119 and $1,658,892 from various funds as of June 30, 2024. The audit urges the Board of Education to closely monitor expenditures and appropriations to reduce something like this from happening again.
