AKRON, Ohio-In May, elementary, middle, and high school students were honored for their dedication to reading as part of Supt. Dr. Michael Robinson’s Book Club initiative. The winning scholars for May were Blake Heflin from Seiberling CLC (Elementary), Jazmine Mendoza from Innes CLC (Middle), and Lainah Baker from North High School (High).
Seiberling CLC, Innes CLC, and North High School were recognized for having the most books read in their respective categories. The district extends its gratitude to principals, teachers, parents, librarians, and the community for their support in encouraging students to read. Special thanks are given to ACME for its ongoing partnership and generous donation of $25 gift cards to recognize top readers.
