TERRACE PARK, Ohio-After the closure of St. Thomas Nursery School in Terrace Park, teachers rallied to establish a new preschool, The Learning Nest, ensuring continuity for former students. The decision to close St. Thomas was challenging, despite efforts to enhance operations and financial stability.
With registrations closed at other schools, families faced uncertainty. However, former teachers proposed launching a new school to retain employment and accommodate displaced students. The Learning Nest, opening in Newtown, will serve approximately 85 children, with most former teachers continuing their roles.
