A woman convicted of beating her boyfriend’s 4-year-old son to death will spend at least two and a half decades in prison. A Franklin County jury convicted Michelle Hilyard, 52, on Sept. 12 of aggravated murder, murder, endangering children, and felonious assault in the May 26, 2021, death of Bryson Brown.
