The Troy City Schools had an unexpected challenge on its hands when schools opened for a new year Wednesday, Aug. 20. The district’s telephone system was not working and will be down for an undetermined amount of time while repairs are made by system provider Cincinnati Bell, said David Fong, schools communications director.
