MANSFIELD, Ohio-David Axner, Executive Director of the Buckeye Association of School Administrators (BASA), awarded Mid-Ohio ESC Superintendent Kevin D. Kimmel with the BASA Exemplary Leadership Award during a meeting on October 16 and again at the BASA Awards Luncheon on October 1. This award recognizes outstanding educational leadership and significant contributions to educational administration, requiring candidates to have at least three years of continuous service as an administrator or college instructor and three years as a BASA member. MOESC Board President Doug Theaker praised Kimmel’s accomplishments, emphasizing the pride the board feels in his leadership at Mid-Ohio ESC. BASA is a non-profit organization that supports school superintendents and administrators across Ohio.
