CEDARVILLE, Ohio-At 16, Sophia Lopez, a Cedarville student and three-time participant in the Scripps National Spelling Bee, is organizing the Champion City Spelling Bee in Springfield. Lopez, who was essentially retired from spelling bees at 14, is opening the competition to people of all ages. The event is scheduled for June 8.
