BATH TOWNSHIP, Ohio-The governor and lieutenant governor have awarded Bath Local Schools a grant of over $2 million for career technical education. The funds will be used to expand career education in fields like health sciences, engineering, and manufacturing. Plans include spatial transformations, such as creating makerspace and career lab areas, as well as developing manufacturing and engineering facilities.
The grant will also provide access to advanced equipment, like an anatomize table, to enhance learning opportunities. Bath principals emphasize the importance of offering students choices in their educational paths, whether they pursue college, workforce, military, or trade school options. They believe the grant will better prepare students for college and careers upon graduation.
