ZANESVILLE, Ohio-Nathan McPeak, 20, formerly of Zanesville, Ohio, was sentenced to 4 years in prison for multiple sex crimes involving minors. He pleaded guilty to two counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, tampering with evidence, dissemination of matter harmful to juveniles, pandering obscenity involving a minor, gross sexual imposition. McPeak met his victims through Snapchat, exchanged explicit photos with one victim, and had sexual contact with both minors. While prosecutors requested 8-12 years imprisonment, Judge Kelly Cottrill imposed a 4-year sentence, despite a maximum possible sentence of 16 years. McPeak must register as a sex offender for 25 years.
