GREENVILLE, Ohio-Students at Greenville High School Career Technology Center recently completed two projects as the school year draws to a close. Under the guidance of teachers Mike Manix and Josh Moore, students in the Greenville Engineering and Construction program finalized these projects. One project involved building a table for the Project LIFE program, which focuses on various life skills for students.
The students utilized skills learned throughout the year, including design on the AutoCAD system, and managed to keep material costs low by repurposing old tables. The table, mainly for food preparation, includes a built-in trash can for convenience. The project took approximately nine months to complete, with a focus on planning and time management. Another project involved the creation of a minibike, led by seniors Alex Hadden, Gavin Swank, and Phillip Shuttleworth, under the supervision of Josh Moore.
