BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio-Bellefontaine High School Entrepreneurship students Isaak Hay and Dalton Frazier participated in SCORE Dayton’s 1st Annual Miami Valley High School “Shark Tank” Pitch Competition. The competition followed local pitch contests at each school, with BHS winners selected by business teachers Jake Kennedy and Aaron Peitsmeyer. At the event, students attended workshops and presented their product pitches.
Despite being the youngest team, Hay and Frazier received the “Spirit Award” and a $150 cash prize. Keynote speaker Charlynda Scales, founder of Mutts Sauce, provided insights on entrepreneurship. The judging panel included Charlynda Scales, Nancy Wilson of K99.1 FM, and WHIO anchors Xavier Hershovitz and Kayla McDermott.
