Here’s why Tri-C students can still get transit passes even as CSU will stop offering them

Cuyahoga County Community College students will not lose transit passes, unlike Cleveland State University students, because Tri-C doesn’t pay for them with student fees. A change in the recently passed state budget law for student fees resulted in CSU announcing it would no longer charge $57.50 a semester for Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority’s U-Pass.
