MARYSVILLE, Ohio-A new religious release program focusing on Satanic studies will be introduced at Marysville’s Edgewood Elementary School in December. The Hellion Academy of Independent Learning (HAIL) program is organized by the Satanic Temple, the only Satanic organization recognized as a church by the IRS and federal courts. June Everett, campaign director for the After School Satan Club, explained that the program was initiated after a parent requested it, and it will only be implemented in districts where other release programs for religious instruction are already allowed.
