11-year-old Amiyah is now home after being seriously injured during a drive-by shooting on New Year’s Eve in east Columbus.
Hall said Amiyah and her 13-year-old sister, Star, were braiding hair when bullets came through a window and hit them both.
“To be honest, when it first happened, I did not even think it would be possible for me to even be in a right mental space to accept it and deal with it,” Hall said.
