Nine children aged one to 13 have been placed in emergency protective custody in Ohio after authorities discovered horrifying living conditions, including cockroach infestations, inadequate bedding and children sleeping in a shed. The children were removed from a home in Etna Township, Licking County, on October 14, 2026, following allegations of neglect and abuse reported by a school to child protection authorities.
