An Ohio couple accused of horrific abuse against their five adopted special needs children pleaded guilty in court and will both spend more than a decade in prison.
Matthew Edmonson, 50, and Charles Edmonson, 64, were each charged in July with five felony counts of endangering children and pleaded guilty on Dec. 27 to all counts. Charles Edmonson, the children’s father, also pleaded guilty to one count of felonious assault and one count of kidnapping.
