Kettering, Troy affected by PowerSchool data leak, other districts say they’re not impacted

A data breach from PowerSchool, a school software company, has impacted Kettering and Troy school districts but appears to not have affected other local schools.

Kettering Schools said PowerSchool had said it does not anticipate the data being shared or made public and believes the data had been deleted without further replication or dissemination.
