LIMA, Ohio-The Lima Rotary Club is continuing its commitment to support adults pursuing secondary education by awarding 15 non-traditional scholarships at a recent meeting. These scholarships help students overcome various life obstacles and focus on their studies. The Rotary Club is approaching nearly $1 million awarded to almost 1,300 students through its scholarship program. Recipients like Lexy Payne, studying aviation management, and Brittany Westfall, pursuing nursing, highlighted how the scholarships alleviate financial burdens and enable them to pursue internships and career goals.
