PIQUA, Ohio-The Piqua Rotary Club has awarded six members of the Class of 2024 with $1,000 merit scholarships, continuing a tradition of over 80 years. The Piqua Rotary Scholarship Fund has distributed over $500,000 in scholarships to more than 500 deserving students pursuing higher education.
Four recipients from Piqua High School were honored at a Rotary meeting, while two others from Lehman Catholic High School received their scholarships at the school’s annual Awards Night. PHS recipients include Logan Thompson, Alyssa Hollopeter, Marin Funderburg, and Alexandria Preston, while Lehman recipients are Donovan O’Leary and Aubri Karn. These students plan to pursue various fields of study ranging from sports administration and business to political science, music education, exercise science, and education.
