WEST CARROLLTON, Ohio-David Anthony Snell faces federal child sex abuse charges. Snell was previously employed as a girls soccer coach by the West Carrollton School District in 2018-2019, but was never an educator there. West Carrollton schools said they did background checks on Snell and received no complaints about him during his time as a coach. Snell was also recently employed at other school districts, including as a teacher at Winton Woods City Schools from 2015-2019. At the time of his arrest, Snell had been hired by Mini University to work at their location in the Hope Center community center, but was fired after only a few days on the job. Mini University stated there was no indication any children in their care were impacted by Snell’s behavior.
