A 17-year-old was shot and hospitalized after the Summit County Fair Saturday night. According to a Facebook post, at around 11:15 p.m., after the fair closed, an individual shot into a car. One person was taken to Akron Children’s Hospital by the Tallmage Fire Department with non-life-threatening injuries. The Summit County Sheriff’s Office and Tallmage Police responded, and the investigation is active and ongoing. According to the post, enhanced security measures were in place, including additional deputies and drone surveillance.
