April 3rd, 2024-TIFFIN, Ohio-In Tiffin, Ohio, a man abducted a 7-month-old child, leading to a tragic crash as he attempted to flee from police. The man, whose identity remains undisclosed, took the child earlier in the day from North Baltimore, reportedly while armed with a gun. He contacted the child’s mother, expressing homicidal and suicidal feelings and claiming to have killed the child.
Tiffin police, alerted by an off-duty officer, pursued the vehicle, resulting in a crash where the car collided with a house, fatally injuring the infant and critically injuring the man. Law enforcement officers rescued the bleeding infant from the wreckage, but the child succumbed to injuries at the hospital. The man was airlifted to a hospital in Toledo, where he remains in critical condition. The circumstances surrounding the abduction and crash, as well as the relationship between the man, the child, and the child’s mother, remain undisclosed.
