NEW LONDON, Ohio-A 13-year-old girl was subjected to a brutal assault orchestrated by her mother, who paid 10 juveniles $50 to beat and humiliate her daughter in a parking lot. The incident, captured on video and shared on social media, led to 12 arrests. The victim’s mother, Idinah Muriel, and aunt, Keosha Muriel, both face felony charges for their involvement in the assault.
Idinah admitted to wanting to humiliate her daughter for being disrespectful and offered money to the juveniles to carry out the attack. The assault involved physical violence, including being whipped with a phone charging cord, choked, spat on, and having her hair pulled out. Keosha Muriel actively participated in the assault, while another video showed juveniles violently attacking the victim in a car with the two women seated in the front.
