CLEVELAND, Ohio-Two teenage girls, aged 14 and 15, were shot while riding in a suspected stolen vehicle on the East side of Cleveland. The incident occurred around 8:20 p.m. near E. 40th Street and Quincy Avenue.
One victim had already left the scene and was at a local hospital when officers arrived. The shooting took place when individuals in the victims’ vehicle and another vehicle exchanged gunfire at the intersection. The 14-year-old girl was shot twice in the leg, while the location of the 15-year-old’s injuries is unknown. No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
