BELEFONTAINE, Ohio-Benjamin Logan High School (BLHS) celebrated the success of its annual Raider Relay, raising over $7,900 in support of the Logan County Cancer Society (LCCS). The event, held on May 8, united students, staff, and community members in various activities and fundraising endeavors.
Cancer survivors and patients from Logan County led the event with a lap around the field, symbolizing resilience. Attendees enjoyed games, tournaments, and a talent show, with memorable moments like a student pie-ing a teacher as part of fundraising. Tammy Gump, COO of LCCS, expressed gratitude for the community’s support, noting the impact on cancer-affected individuals and families in Logan County. The funds raised will provide vital assistance for medical needs and other essentials.
