CINCINNATI, Ohio-Ohio State University was the only Ohio school to make CollegeRaptor’s Top 25 Best Public Colleges list for 2024, coming in at 16th place. The rankings, presented by Citizens Financial Group, are based on factors like graduation rates, campus diversity, and endowment per student. The top three public colleges on the list were the University of Virginia, the United States Naval Academy, and the University of Michigan. Each of these institutions varies significantly in student enrollment, with the University of Virginia at about 26,000 students, the Naval Academy at 4,450, and the University of Michigan at around 51,000.
