Big Walnut Hires All-Time Leading Scorer Aaron Stumpf to Coach Boys Basketball Program

< 1 min read

BIG WALNUT, Ohio-Aaron Stumpf, a former standout basketball player at Big Walnut, has been appointed as the new head coach for the boys’ basketball team. He replaces Matt Winters, who withdrew from the position shortly after being appointed. Stumpf, a graduate of Big Walnut, aims to lead the team to success reminiscent of his own experiences in the ’90s.

With a focus on team achievements rather than individual records, Stumpf hopes to guide the program to district and regional championships. His extensive basketball background, including playing at the collegiate level and coaching at Capital University, equips him well for the role. Stumpf is eager to leverage his connections within the community to garner support for the program and foster its growth.
